5:30PM – THE JC ANDERSEN BAND

Returning to The Dog Days Of Summer Festival is Nashville’s JC Andersen Band. Following in the footsteps of countless musicians and artists, J.C. Andersen now calls Nashville, Tennessee his home. With bandmates all hailing from different states around the U.S., these musicians somehow came together over the last decade to form this band of brothers now playing towns all across the nation! You’ve seen them on tour opening for such artists as Keith Urban, Van Zant, Trick Pony, Tracy Byrd, LeAnn Rimes, Joe Nichols, Diamond Rio, Lonestar, Brad Paisley, Darryl Worley, Trace Adkins, Steve Azar, Rodney Atkins, and Toby Keith. Most recently, JC Andersen been nominated for the Nashville Industry Music Awards for Best Country Solo Artist.

 

4:00PM – THE PAWNSHOP ROSES

Returning to The Dog Days Of Summer Festival, Paul Keen, Kevin Bentley, Jason Jonik, and Zil are veteran song writers and multi-instrumentalists from Philadelphia. For over 17 years the Roses have played their brand of American Rock and Roll all over the country and they’re currently writing for their next record. The band appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America. They have also played live on the local NBC and CBS morning shows. Their song “All the Way Down” was recently featured on MTV. They have opened Velvet Revolver, Hoobastank, Robert Randolph and Molly Hatchet and on the bill with Radio Head, Jack Johnson and others at the All Points West festival.

 

3:00PM – HOT SAUCE BAND

Local favorites The Hot Sauce Band, perform multi-generational popular music with a unique spicy flair, all under the creative guidance of front man and maestro David Aman. David grew up in Italy and Spain studying Spanish guitar. A lover of classical Baroque music, he has performed professionally throughout Europe. Moving to Texas where he continued his musical career had him fall in love with Latin music of all types. Having been lucky enough to live all around the world, David now resides in Delaware, USA, thrilling East Coast audiences with engaging Hot Sauce Band performances. What is the sound like? Imagine the music of Herb Alpert, Gipsy Kings, Sergio Mendes, and Spaghetti Western (Clint Eastwood) Movies. The instrumentation is also novel and unique – Marimba, Castanets, Horns, Nylon String Flamenco Guitars, and Melodica

 

2:00PM – LOWER CASE BLUES

“The Blues Hall of Fame” inductees, Lower Case Blues are a power trio originating from Newark, Delaware. The band features Jake Banaszak (lead guitar), B.J. Muntz (bass and vocals), and Paul Weik (drums). Since the Band started in ’03, They have established themselves as some of the best in the area.. Taking blues to a whole new level and earning respect as being some of the best up and coming musicians. LCB focuses on playing original music with a reasonable amount of covers thrown into the mix to pay tribute to their inspirations. The band always plays with feeling and improvisation… “you’ll never hear a song played the same way twice”.
